On June 22, 2024, Tom Saunders was ordained deacon by the Rt. Rev. Steven Murrell, assisting bishop in the Missionary Diocese of the South and Ozarks. Bishop Murrell ordained the Rev. Saunders as presbyter on June 23, 2024.
Both services were held at St. Bede’s Anglican Church in Tuscon, Arizona.
The new presbyter ministered elsewhere for many years. He now serves as an assisting presbyter at St. Bede’s, where he has been a longtime member.
